look what I can do...

I have been fooling around with different photo editing programs. I do not have Photoshop. (Hey, we are just now getting cable installed, for the first time in almost 4 years. Baby steps, baby steps.)

So, I have made Tony his thank you's for his graduation party in a few weeks.
(Some of you who read this will be getting your very own via the United States Postal Service.)

Which prompted Jilly-bean to ask if I could come up with something for her kids to give relatives for Christmas presents.
(I, personally, think that she should attach the two with a silver, metal brad at the top, right in the center. How cute would that be?)

I know it's wrong, but I am proud of myself.
I know nothing about computers.
Nothing.
Or, at least, I didn't think I knew anything.
Then, came blogging.

Oh, the things I am learning.
I even made my new header from a photo I actually took.
Amazing.
The computer.
Not me.
Off to compute.

Sanctuary.

Our room is super clean (worked on it most of the morning). My new computer is wicked fast. And, I can, so why not? I have nothing else to do...shyeah, right!

Next, on my "want-to-do" list; watch the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas special on PBS with the girls (before Pete gets off the bus because he'll never go for that).

Next on my "need-to-do" list; where do I begin?
Gotta go!

Life.

Does anyone out there know how difficult it is to try and make my life sound interesting on a daily basis? I mean, I am assuming that all 5 of you that are reading personally know me, and can attest to the fact that my days are full of the mundane. But, mundane can often times = magical.

Magic has happened here. It takes the form of Tilda. Tilda is my new Toshiba laptop. Well, OUR new lalptop. I cannot claim sole ownership. It, in part, belongs to my husband. (Whatever.) Tilda may be mundane to most of you, but to me, she is pure magic. After all, she is replacing the wooly mammoth. The only thing she's missing is fairy dust. And, I am sure, one of my lovelies can arrange for that.

In other, completely unlrelated-mundane-news...

Yesterday, it looked like this, and there wasn't school?!

Today, it looked like this, and there was school?!

I would like for the superintendant of our school district to please contact me, and give me the 4-1-1 on the school cancelation policy.

I don't know, maybe he had a long weekend, and chose yesterday to sleep it off.

That's my theory.
Word!
