    thanks, everyone! i have entered the room in ohdeedon's color contest yesterday, so we'll see. i'll need your support. :) elma, i will definitely get back to you on the color. and, julie, the chandelier is a $70 fixture from lowe's a few years ago (i think they still carry it), but i have painted it soooo much over the years. this time i sprayed it turquoise including the crystals,and added a bird from hobby lobby. hope that helps!
